Best Patios In Austin

The weather is finally starting to warm after a long, cold winter in Austin! Living in Austin is the perfect combination of inner-city life and outdoor activity, and with the 85-degree temperatures, we’ve been having lately, what better way to enjoy the day than sitting on a lovely patio with a margarita in hand?

Here are my favorite, aka the best patios in Austin!

Fareground Austin

Go hang out at Fareground’s spacious outdoor grassy patio after work with drinks from the bar and bites from Henbit, Contigo, Dai Due, Ni-Kome, or Easy Tiger. Fareground is open until 10pm.

111 Congress Ave, faregroundaustin.com

Come for the cat cups (the painkiller) and stay for the chicken hearts – yes, we said chicken hearts. Don’t be fooled because this shit’s good – trust us. Also, the puff, puff, pass is a solid drank too.

2713 E 2nd St, Austin, TX 78702, kemuri-tatsuya.com

Domo Alley-Gato

Domo Alley-Gato is Ramen Tatsu-Ya’s East Austin bar and patio – IMO the newest best patio in Austin.

El Naranjo in Austin, Texas

El Naranjo’s laidback, intimate atmosphere creates the perfect setting for locals and travelers alike to enjoy Chef de la Vega’s expertly crafted dishes. Two large patios provide extra seating in both the front and back of the restaurant, perfect for enjoying the view of Rainey Street—or for having a quieter meal away from the hustle and bustle of the main area.

85 Rainey St, elnaranjorestaurant.com

Bearpaw Koko

Mozart’s is still one of my favorite spots in Austin to sit back and enjoy the view of Lake Austin.

3825 Lake Austin Blvd, mozartscoffee.com

Dine on Southeast cuisine at Soursop while downing a couple of beers from St Elmo Brewing Company. The patio is dog-friendly so bring your furry friends!

Fresa's - South First

An Austin staple, now with a spacious brick and mortar, come with a group and go for the avocado margarita – add queso, guac, and all the brussels sprouts.

Delicious in all it’s glory, step away from the city and have a drink with friends. This spot is ideal for anytime of the day, especially breakfast.

1601 Waterston Ave, josephineofaustin.com

Justine's Brasserie

Talk about chic – the steak and frites is the “it crowd” thing to eat, but their wine is also on point. Snag a table early in the evening to avoid a wait.

4710 E 5th St, justines1937.com

Contigo Austin

Channel your southern vibes and head down Manor Rd. for a solid outdoor experience. Dog-friendly, so bring the pups to soak up the sun as well.

2027 Anchor Ln, contigotexas.com

Olamaie Austin

Remove yourself from the city life and sit on the prettiest porch in town. Now serving a new spring menu, grab a drink and some deviled eggs for a good time.

Cocktails and nibbles with a gorgeous backyard overlooking the river.

Experience Lenoir’s new dinner menu in the backyard Wine Garden, which is perfect for dining al fresco when the weather is just right. Guests can order from the full dinner, wine and beer menus at the outdoor bar—no reservation required! Healthy Cocktails & Farm-to-Table Salads At Vinaigrette Austin, best patios in austin

Lucky Robot

Not so much a patio as an outdoor seating area, Lucky Robot is where it’s at for people watching on South Congress. Grab some brussels sprouts to share and post up as the sun sets.

1303 S Congress Ave, luckyrobotrestaurant.com

La Condesa Brunch

La Condesa is basically the reason why we come here but the queso flameado isn’t half bad either. The bar area is where we hang for happy hour but their extended patio is on point too.
