With all the happenings going on in this city, it’s crucial we have some top-notch spots to run off to when we’re getting those late-night munchies. Besides your typical, What-a-burger pit-stop, we wanted to give you some more ideal options when it comes to getting your grub on post-bar hop. Here are my favorite spots for late night food in Austin after 9pm.

Who doesn’t want a hot donut out of the fryer? And the best place to go is Gourdough’s with their big fat donuts that’ll send you into a food coma. I like the Mother Clucker if I’m feeling something salted and then the Strawberry Shortcake if I want something sweet. Try the Blue Balls if you really have a sweet tooth.
Late-night hours: midnight on Sunday – Thursday, 3am on Friday and Saturday
1503 S 1st St., gourdoughs.com
5. JUSTINE’S BRASSERIE
Rosé all day – and then more at night. This place is french AF all the way down to the escargot which is why we’re kind of obsessed.
Late-night hours: 2am every night, closed Tuesdays

6. Kerbey Lane Cafe
Beloved college student hangout diner for breakfast that’s open 24 hours and seven days a week.

KOKO TIP: I always get the donut holes.
Late-night hours: open from midnight to noon every day
4909 Airport Blvd, mjbakery.com
8. EASY TIGER
Easssssy… on the bread… said no one EVER. Soak up your shenanigans with all the carbs so you don’t hate yourself in the morning. Easy Tiger has two locations (soon to be three): one on 6th Street and one at the Linc Center. Only the 6th Street location is open until 2am on Fridays and Saturdays.
Late-night hours: midnight on Sunday – Thursday, 2am on Friday and Saturday

9. G’RAJ MAHAL CAFE
Garlic naan y’all. If you’re already on Rainey this is the perfect place to feed your soul after a Sunday-funday but it’s delicious on all the other days of the week too. If you need something sweet after drinking on Rainey Street, I like the Indian spiced beignets at G’raj Mahal.

73 Rainey St, grajmahalaustin.com
When it’s past midnight and you have the serious munchies, Irene’s has 6 different kinds of toast and soft serve with sprinkles and stays open until 2am on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
If you want a quick munchie, get the popcorn, pimento cheese and Saltines, or the buffalo chicken wings with blue cheese dressing. Or for something sweet, the strawberry cake, peanut butter, and jelly blondie, chocolate covered cherry whoopie pie, or vanilla soft serve.
Late-night hours: 2am on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
506 West Ave, irenesaustin.com
11. VIA 313
Square-ish in all it’s glory, Via 313’s detroit style pizza is the perfect option for a take-home and chill, late-night situation.

Your classic diner comfort food with a fancy twist in a 24-hour joint. Order one of their signature hashes or go for the fried chicken & waffles if you’re in the mood for a classic. Always wash it down with a milkshake.
