Baked Brie with Wine-Soaked Blueberries

You know those appetizers when you put them on the table, and everyone goes, “Woww.” But in reality it took only a couple of minutes to make with literally no clean up? This Baked Brie with Wine-Soaked Blueberries is one of those.

I’m super excited to be hosting the H-E-B Holiday Virtual Dinner with Kylie of Imma Eat That, and Vianney of Sweet Life Bake! And guess what, you get to join us!

I’m bringing the appetizers:

Baked Brie with Wine-Soaked Blueberries

Slow Cooker Mozzarella Stuffed Meatballs

Kylie’s making the main entrees:

Turmeric Chicken Chili With Coconut Oil Biscuits

White Pizza With Pulled Pork and Balsamic Blackberry Sauce

and Vianney is bringing the sweets:

Pecan Saltine Toffee

Chocolate Churro Cookie Cups

From December 14‑19, share a photo on Instagram of your holiday appetizer, dinner, drinks, or dessert using #HEBCheerSweepstakes for a chance to win a $100 H‑E‑B Gift Card along with a $50 prize pack. Details here.  I can’t wait to see what you whip up!

I’m in charge of appetizers, Kylie’s making the main entrees, and Vianney is bringing the sweets. Follow HEB’s Pinterest Dinner Party board for inspiring recipe ideas for your holiday party.

My first appetizer are Slow Cooker Mozzarella Stuffed Meatballs, smothered with marinara sauce and grated Parmesan. So good that I made an extra batch to enjoy during the week.

Holiday party planning can be stressful so I’m all about quick and easy appetizers that can also be show stoppers. Baked brie is one of my go-tos because it’s super easy to make, and you can easily switch it up for any season. While the brie bakes up in the oven (only takes 10 minutes!), create the wine soaked blueberries by adding blueberries, red wine, and sugar to a small saucepan. I like to also treat myself to a glass of wine while I’m cooking in the kitchen, it is afterward the holidays!

The H‑E‑B Soft Ripened Brie Cheese Wheel is perfect for baked brie recipes! Just remove from packaging and place on a parchment paper, and bake until bubbly.

Serve with your favorite sliced bread, mini toasts, and chips. I’ve been loving these Stonefire Naan Crisps that are perfect for scooping up that ooey gooey brie.
