Austin Food Truck Taste Off

It’s going DOWN between Austin’s top food trucks, Chi’lantro BBQ and Burro Cheese Kitchen. I’m thrilled to host the first Food Truck Taste Off with 365 Things Austin, sponsored by Able Lending!

This epic battle is happening at Hops and Grain Brewery with two of our favorite food trailers: Chi’lantro, home of the world’s greatest kimchi fries, and Burro Cheese Kitchen, purveyors of gourmet grilled cheese deliciousness!

You’ll be able to taste four courses from the competitors (two from each), and YOU get to vote who should be crowned the Taste Off King. Each course will be paired with a pour from the Hops and Grain Taproom, and you’ll receive a souvenir glass to take home as well.

All 200 tickets sold out in less than 24 hours. Enter to win pair of passes to the Food Truck Taste Off below!

Able Lending is the world’s first collaborative lender. Able is creating a new way to empower main street entrepreneurs. We believe in the power of collaboration, and that together, we can help the Fortune 5 Million get the credit they need to grow their businesses.

I love that Able is a locally based company in Austin that have helped several businesses achieve their full potential. They’ve helped fund Chi’lantro, Hops & Grain Brewery, Raven + Lily, and Shag Salon!

Chi'Lantro BBQ

Chi’lantro BBQ

Home of the original kimchi fries, Chi’lantro BBQ started from the streets of Austin as a food truck and has now opened 2 brick and mortars. Their kimchi fries are world famous, and their korean fried chicken pops are bomb diggity.

Burro Cheese Kitchen

Burro Cheese Kitchen

These are no ordinary grilled cheeses. At Burro Cheese Kitchen, they revel in the glory of artisan grilled cheese sandwiches and are excited to take the concept of amazing grilled cheese sandwiches to the next level. I’m talking about beer-bread, stout-soaked Redneck cheddar, and Gruyere, caramelized onions, pepperoncini, and spicy maple bacon. Get ready to have your life changed.
