I’ve been a huge fan of Cirque du Soleil ever since I watched my first show, Cirque Quidam, back 2012. Since then I watched every show in Austin and when we vacationed in Las Vegas last summer. There’s something whimsical about going to the circus and seeing the incredible acrobatic acts. Seeing the premier of Cirque du Soleil KOOZA under the big top tent at Circuit of the Americas was breathtaking and had me sitting on the edge of my seat!
When Cirque du Soleil reached out to me to host an EXCLUSIVE dinner for 10 of my readers with the KOOZA artists and show, I was so excited! To me, the best thing about being a blogger is being able to share experiences with others through my editorial and photography. And it’s even more rewarding when I get the opportunity to bring guests with me!
This was the first time Cirque du Soleil has ever collaborated on an exclusive dinner and allowed guests to dine in their actual kitchen! The KOOZA team travels together from city to city with a chef on staff that creates both lunch and dinner. The menu changes daily featuring different cuisines from around the world and local produce from the city that they are performing in.
After touring the kitchen with Chef, we enjoyed a delicious Indonesian meal! The fried shrimp spring rolls, green papaya salad, and fried rice were my favorites.
