Liberty Kitchen is currently my latest obsession. One, the food is really good and there’s so many options – lobster, gumbo, king crab, oysters, scallops, pasta, steak, sandwiches, and almost eggs on everything. Two, there’s parking – tons of it, they have this giant parking garage. With all the new openings, I rarely get to try a restaurant more than once but I’ve dined at Liberty Kitchen 4 times in the past 2 months. Even took the boyfriend’s parents here when they were visiting from Dallas, and we came again for my birthday dinner and indulged on the Fort Nonsense – 9 gulf oysters, 6 jumbo shrimp, 9 littleneck clams, 1/2 chilled lobster, tuna poke, Lulu’s salad, and king crab.
The space is beautifully designed – marble countertops with booth seating, and Texas inspired decor. Look up at the ceiling when you’re there. The post is going to be filled with food porn so make sure you scroll all the way down for a giveaway!
What To Order: Lobster roll, hot smoked salmon toast, shirred eggs, deviled eggs, burger bowl, oysters, and breakfast cereal-style salted caramel cake milkshake.
Weekend Brunch At Liberty Kitchen Austin
Lilly Langtry Cocktail / Gin & Tonic
You have to start your brunch off with these boozy sips!
Hot Smoked Salmon Toast
Served with whipped cream cheese, pickled onion, and bacon jam. You know I love my toasts and I love salmon. Not sure why I haven’t thought of combining the two, delicious!
Fried oyster, sausage & fried egg with arugula, pickled red onion, and spicy mayo all on a French roll. Not only do you need to put an egg on it, but also a couple of fried oysters.
With hot smoked salmon, caviar, and cream over French bread and bacon. Great for sharing.
Maine Lobster Roll
With lemony-tarragon mayo and vinegar potato chips. Loved the lobster roll!
Griddled burger ‘club’ with some issues: Fresh jalapeno, avocado, avocado oil mayo, deviled eggs, turkey, bacon, bacon jam, white american, pepper jack and pickles. Served in half or full roll… it is ‘the danger’!
Spicy-pickled juice yolk topped with Hot Smoked Salmon, Fried Oyster, Pimento Cheese & Crab, and
Spicy Fried Chicken n’ Sauce with a side bacon jam.
Mac & Cheese
Not your ordinary mac & cheese. I know what you’re thinking, what’s special about mac & cheese? This one is really cheesy and comforting to indulge in for weekend brunch. Feeling baller? Upgrade to the King Crab and cheddar.
Charred Chiles con Queso & Tortilla Strips
You can also add on griddled shrimp-crab $6
Cajun Chicken and Waffles
Red bean and rice waffle with pepper jack, andouille gravy and bacon, and hot sauce syrup.
Sledge iceberg, fries, jalapeno, avocado, buttermilk dressing, queso, 2 fried eggs, tomato, red onion.

Pie and Cake Shakes
Take slice of pie (apple pie pictured above) or cake, or any dessert and blended with soft-serve custard. Enjoy!
Breakfast Cereal-Style Salted Caramel Cake Milkshake
Salted caramel cake with Kahlua, quik-soaked with cream & milk, and caramel. Cures hangovers, bad moods, heartbreaks, and makes everything better in the world.
White chocolate bread pudding
With doubled cream and caramel sauce. The perfect sweet ending to an amazing brunch!
