The Monument Cafe is a locally owned and run food restaurant inspired by the roadside cafes of Texas from the 1920s to the 1940s. Only fresh meats, veggies, and sweets are offered here. In addition to growing several veggies and herbs in their garden, they purchase as many of their crops as they can from nearby farmers. Hormones, antibiotics, steroids, and animal byproducts are not in their meat. They offer local free-range yard eggs and non-homogenized, low-temperature pasteurized milk. Dos Salsas is a family-run chain of Tex-Mex restaurants that debuted its first establishment in Georgetown, Texas, in March 1999. A second Central Texas site opened in Cedar Park, Texas, in December 2012, and a third location opened in Austin, Texas, at The Domain, in December 2019, following the Georgetown restaurant.
