Easy Baked Tilapia

Tilapia is quick and easy to prepare. This flavorful dish uses garlic and lemon to highlight the natural flavor of the fish. Accompanied by cauliflower, broccoli, and red pepper – you have a colorful and satisfying meal.

Great meal for a low carb diet or any healthy diet. Wonderful Cajun flavor that is also very fresh tasting with the lemon slices.

Easy Baked Tilapia

Tilapia is quick and easy to prepare. This flavorful dish uses garlic and lemon to highlight the natural flavor of the fish. Accompanied by cauliflower, broccoli, and red pepper – you have a colorful and satisfying meal.

  • Cook Time: 25 minutes
  • Total Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • 4 (4.0 ounce fillet) tilapia
  • 2 teaspoon butter
  • Old bay seasoning, to taste
  • Garlic salt, to taste
  • Lemon, sliced
  • 1 pkg frozen cauliflower with broccoli and red pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish. Place the tilapia fillets in the bottom of the baking dish and dot with butter.
  3. Season with Old Bay seasoning and garlic salt. Top each one with a slice or two of lemon.
  4. Arrange the frozen mixed vegetables around the fish, and season lightly with salt.
  5. Cover the dish and bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, until vegetables are tender and fish flakes easily with a fork.
