When Leigh Ann of The Scout Guide Austin asked me to co-host a weekend brunch on a farm, I immediately said yes! Our brunch on the farm was held on the beautiful Springdale Farm in East Austin. The setting and weather couldn’t have been more perfect!

Our guests gathered under the trees at the picnic tables making fresh flower crowns from House of Margot Blair while dining on a delicious spread by Eden East and desserts by Gal Friday Bakes with a tablescape decorated by Melody’s Joy.
How dreamy is Springdale Farm?!
LEIGH ANN KALMAN, Editor of THE SCOUT GUIDE AUSTIN, always wanted to host a farm brunch and that dream came true! Mine too!
Sonya Coté, Owner + Chef at EDEN EAST, prepared a farm fresh brunch menu, which was prepared in their al fresco kitchen. We had the best time planning the event with General Manager, Kaycee Braden, also pictured. The farm to table menu included: Pumpkin Bisque Shooters, Corn Bread Muffins w/ Jam, Seasonal Mini Frittatas and Pimento Cheese with Farm Pickles.
Carly Blair of HOUSE OF MARGOT BLAIR brought gorgeous flowers and greenery to lead our brunching ladies in flower crown tutorials, which guests wore home.
Kana LiVolsi-Crosby of DOS MUNDOS CREATIVE beautifully captured the serene ambiance of our ladies’ afternoon and we can’t stop looking at the photos!
Erin + Angie of the local musical duo MUCH 2 MUCH graced us with their beautiful voices as they provided the musical entertainment for the afternoon.
Jessica Blair of GAL FRIDAY BAKES prepared a beautiful array of seasonal fall desserts that had guests going back for seconds. Gal Friday Bakes provided a beautiful spread: Salted Maple & Bourbon Pot de Cremes, Apple & Almond Tartlets with Amaretto Butterscotch Drizzle and Hazelnut Lace Cookies.
Melody DeMaris of MELODY’S JOY DESSERT TABLE DESIGN made all our tablescape dreams come true, with beautiful displays from the dessert table to farm tables.
