It’s officially summer party season. I’ve been whipping up all sorts of frozen (and boozy!) treats, planning restaurant city guides, and hitting the road for weekend getaways. Here are 7 parties I’m hoping to throw (or attend) this summer!

Ice Cream Party

Ice Cream Party

Nothing screams summer like ice cream! Include a variety of cones, colorful paper cupcakes, and ramekins to hold those yummy scoops. Wine glasses can double as topping holders for fruit, nuts, candy, and caramel. I plan on throwing a boozy milkshake party with Wild Turkey American Honey bourbon! (via Elizabeth Anne Designs)

Donut Hole Party

Amp up your next dinner party with a DIY donut hole bar. Chocolate dipping sauce, strawberry frosting (Homer Simpson donuts!), and sprinkles of all sorts are a must. (via Brit + Co)

Grab some fun yard games and take your party outside. No backyard? Head for the park! Pack up sandwiches, side salads, drinks, and desserts for a refreshing al fresco meal.

Outdoor Dining Champange

Nautical Themed Party

The beach is a 3-hour drive from Austin, so I’m bringing it to me with this nautical themed party. Tropical fruits and fresh flowers keep the party feeling beachy and breezy.
