Josephine House is one of my happy places in Austin! The restaurant is a neighborhood favorite in Clarksville that is frequently by those who live in the area. Josephine House is actually named after one of the neighbors, Josephine, that lived in the neighborhood! Originally an event space, Josephine House quickly became a restaurant due to the high demand. Josephine House is located right around the corner from it’s older brother restaurant, Jeffrey’s, one of Austin’s fine dining institutions. Stop by for breakfast, lunch, brunch, happy hour ($2 off beer, wines by the glass & cocktails), dinner & Monday night steak frites from 6pm-10pm!
