Best Brunch In Austin: Italic

If you haven’t been to Italic for brunch, you’re missing out. I know I was until I brunched at Italic a couple of weekends ago and I can’t stop thinking about it. The French toast with Easy Tiger bread, braised duck hash with crispy potatoes, and peperonata & eggs was delicious. Italic starts off your Sunday brunch (11am – 3pm) with a complimentary negroni!

Italic also has an family-style brunch option for $25 per person ($10 extra for house wine or mimosa carafe service). Includes cheese, prosciutto, Easy Tiger Italic bread, season frittata, soft polenta & duck leg, rustic potatoes, green beans, and castagnole.

WHAT TO ORDER: French Toast, Braised Duck Hash, and Peperonata & Eggs.

FRENCH TOAST

Easy Tiger Italian bread, mascarpone cream, and mixed berries. Tops the list of my favorite French toasts in Austin!

BRAISED DUCK HASH

Poached eggs, potatoes, parmigiano, caramelized onions, and arugula. Must order for brunch at Italic – the potatoes are super crispy and covered with runny yolk and caramelized onions.

PEPERONATA & EGGS

Sweet peppers, capers, herbs, baked eggs, parmigiano, and Easy Tiger toast. Sooo good.
