Quick & Easy Cheese Board For Your Desk

Skip the chips and candy bars that you have stashed in your desk drawer and opt for a quick, easy, and healthy cheese board. Working six or more hours a day can cause a toll on your body. Do you sit at your desk for hours? I use to sit at my desk for more than 8 hours with just a couple of bathroom breaks, and lunch break. Four months later, I had terrible lower back and shoulder pain.

Ingredients

Your favorite cheese.

I recommend selecting cheeses that aren’t too stinky. You don’t want your next door neighbor to be angry now. Office friendly options include cheddar, gouda, pantaleo (firm goat), patit basque (sheep), stilton, or chirboga blue. My go-to is creamy Brie.

Check a couple of emails while letting the cheese come to room temperature. About 30 minutes. The full flavors of the cheese come out just below room temperature.

Your favorite fruit.

Grapes, pears, figs, apples, and persimmons are fantastic with cheese.

Crackers.

For a hunger-curbing option, try Blue Diamond Artisan Nut Thins. I’ve been snacking on the Artisan Nut Thins with flax seeds, crafted with brown rice and almonds. Really good on their own too!
