It’s like eating a chewy ice cube that is made of grape juice. – Amy Cao

I’ve been eating way too much junk food for my own good. I don’t mean sweets, more like chips, popcorn, ect. Now when I say I’m not a fan of sweets that includes fruits, which I know are essential to everyone’s diet, but I still don’t like them. So I’ve been pondering ideas on how to get myself to eat more fruit and I came across Amy Cao’s Frozen Grapes Youtube video! It’s the perfect treat for the blistering summer. We’ve have nothing but triple digits here in Austin.

Grapes are low glycemic index foods, which means better blood sugar balance, better insulin regulation and insulin sensitivity. Grapes contain flavonoids that are very powerful antioxidants, which can reduce the damage caused by free radicals and reduce aging. Lucky for us, wine is made from grapes.
