Help support Chef Yasuo’s recovery through special menu offerings at TenTen April 5-11

As friends of TenTen and Nova Hospitality, you may already know about the debilitating stroke that esteemed Chef Yasuo suffered in October 2020. Although he has made positive strides in his recovery, Chef may never return to the profession he has known for more than two decades.

As a member of our TenTen family, Chef has had a significant influence on its cuisine, culture and team members. In the spirit of family and community, we would like to show our gratitude and rally support for Chef and his family in this difficult time. In efforts to support the financial burden of his recovery, TenTen will donate a portion of all proceeds from April 5-11, with the ultimate fundraising goal of $10,000, to directly contribute to the fund supporting Chef and his family.

For guests who want to experience some of Chef Yasuo’s favorite dishes, be sure to try some of the following:

  • Yuzu Picante
  • Edamame
  • Hamachi Carpaccio

“Yasuo is the ultimate show of consistency, no matter what day, no matter who is there, no matter what is going on, he always produces at a high level and never makes any excuses,” said Chef Jon Oh, Culinary Director of Nova Hospitality. “He is the type of person who will do anything for anyone else, help in any way and still take his job incredibly seriously, so he is very deserving of anything that we can give back to help his family.”

As a member of the TenTen family, Chef has had a significant influence on its cuisine, culture and team members. Proceeds will be donated for dine-in and takeout orders. Additional donations can be made through a GoFundMe here

We hope that you will help spread the message from TenTen to support Chef Yasuo and his family during this time, and further encourage his recovery! Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to make a reservation to visit TenTen.
