Donut Boobie Tee

So excited to announce the top secret project I’ve been working on for the past couple of months, SHOP KOKO. Shop Koko is my very own retail line of foodie tees starting with a donut boobie tee, queso tee, and fries tee. To celebrate the launch of Shop Koko, I partnered up with The Refinery to host the Museum of Donuts to celebrate all things donuts for my very first tee, the donut boobie tee!

We originally had planned to just have the event from 11am – 1pm but tickets sold out in 24 HOURS! So many people were begging to get into Museum of Donuts so we opened up round 2 and that sold out in ONE HOUR. We also launched a round 3.

BY THE NUMBERS

  • 680 people came to celebrate Museum of Donuts
  • 2650 donuts served from all local Austin donut shops
  • 650 boozy iced lattes
  • 666 SHOP KOKO tees printed
  • 8 Instagrammable photo installations
  • #teamdonut of 4 gals – me, Madison, Dani, & Hayley
  • #teamdad of 4 dads – (mine, Madison, Dani, & Hayley’s dad helped deliver the turf) came to help us set up!
  • 48 hours to transform The Refinery into Museum of Donuts
  • 8 hours of Museum of Donuts before it was torn down

〰️ #kokoIRL no 2. I hate teamwork I’ve never been a fan of teamwork – either people don’t do the work good enough or they take too long. When I getting ready to launch #shopkoko and just started talking to @thedanicreative @hayleyjswindell of @therefineryatx & @thecarbnivore – I was so worried on being a collaborative team player. In one month, we dreamed up #museumofdonuts, designed it, built it, and made it happen. Putting together everyone’s strengths and weaknesses is what made this possible. Even having everyone’s Dad come (my dad made the 3-hour drive from Port Lavaca & Dani’s dad made the 3-hour drive from DFW!) to help us out was heartwarming. That wasn’t planned! When the dads were putting up the Museum of Donuts sign, they joked it should be Museum of Dads. Even the bfs and fiancees slaved away as we gave everyone their marching orders (who runs the world?! 😉) We had 48 hours to transform @therefineryatx into the #museumofdonuts and building for 12-hours non-stop until 1am on Friday night and Saturday night, I felt like crying and had my doubts. We were even inflating balloons 30 mins before the doors open. But somehow, with all us working together, #museumofdonuts was created and we housed 680 people on Sunday! TY to the dream donut team @thedanicreative @hayleyjswindell of @therefineryatx & @thecarbnivore. 👯‍♀️👯‍♀️
