What’s In My Travel Bag

What's In My Travel Bag

I’ve been doing quite a bit of traveling this summer. Cozumel, Belize, and Mahogany Bay with Carnival, Miami with Booking.com and Time Out, and Dallas with KIA Motors. Here’s what I’ve been carrying in my travel bag while on-the-go!

What’s In My Travel Bag

Almonds. I’m a chronic snacker and constantly need to munch on something salty. Blue Diamond’s bold sriracha almonds satisfy my salty and spicy craving, and the packaging is perfect for those on-the-go.

Burt’s Bees lip balm. Because there’s nothing worse than chapped lips. I skip the lipstick and lip gloss when traveling.

Clean & Clear blotting sheets. If I was stranded on an island and I could only have item with me. It would be a packet of blotting sheets.

Natural wipes for hands and face. Babyganics all natural, extra gentle, fragrance free, and non-allergenic pre-moistened wipes keep me feeling refreshed while traveling. Made for babies, which means I don’t have to worry about the wipes irritating my skin!

Sunglasses. I’ve given up on expensive sunnies, and opted for this pair for Forever 21. I don’t have to feel bad if I lose them!

iPhone. Obviously. How else am I going to post to Instagram?!

Moment lens. I use the Moment wide angle lens to capture travel photos. They also have a tele lens.

Mophie battery. The Mophie PowerStation 4000 quick charge gives me two full charges to my iPhone.

Hand lotion. My go-to is the AHAVA hand cream with deadsea minerals. Keeps my hands moisturized, especially on the plane! Ignore the pink streaks, nail polish does not travel well!

Hand sanitizer. I picked up this EO® Organic Lavender Natural Hand Sanitizer Spray from Whole Foods. No triclosan and the lavender keeps leaves a soothing and calming scent.

Magazine. For those long plane rides.

Straw hat. Keeps me cool while walking around and the sun out of my eyes.

Backpack. I’ve been loving the TOMS waved canvas knapsack so much that I use it not only when traveling but also on a daily basis. It’s super light so I don’t have to worry about excess weight and it holds my travel essentials and laptop. TOMS Bags purchases provide training for skilled birth attendants and the vital materials needed to help a woman safely give birth.
