AT&T and Isis mobile wallet

I can’t exactly say the holidays this year were a cinch to plan but AT&T and Isis Mobile Wallet did make my shopping experience a lot easier. I am notorious to carrying around a billion cards in my wallet and shuffling through them at the cash register is always embarrassing. Isis Mobile Wallet? Problem solved. I can now store my American Express, Capital One and Chase credit cards in my phone, which I carry around everywhere. The directory lists stores such as Finish Line, Jamba Juice, Macy’s, and Whole Foods, which has given me more of an excuse to spend more time there. You can even use Isis at Coke vending machines! The app also lists coupons that you can redeem at certain stores.

Turkey time! Isis made my Whole Foods shopping experience quick and easy! Brine baby, brine. Meet my overnight guest who spent the night in the fridge during Thanksgiving eve. I opted for a organic turkey this year from Whole Foods. And the pumpkin cheesecake? A recipe that I SWEAR by. Topped with a walnut crumble and drizzled with caramel.

Christmas with the friends. Dishes that night included caramelized tomato slices for the spicy, roasted tomato basil soup, fried brussel sprouts, grilled shrimp skewers, stracotto with porcini mushrooms, bourbon pecan smashed sweet potatoes, broccolini, asparagus, and tiramisu. My newest addiction are moscato spritzers with frozen raspberries.

Isis Thoughts.

Easy and convenient. My phone is always glued to my hand and now my credit cards can be stored inside? Sweet! There are some kinks that Isis will have to work out with the credit card machines. It’s rather frustrating when it won’t recognize the Isis app and refuses to sync. The addition of more locations would be nice too. The app is fairly new (only available in ATX and Salt Lake City) but having a larger store selection with HEB, Walmart, even restaurants would be amazing.

AT&T and Isis have launched in Austin and Salt Lake City as of October 2012. I would like to thank AT&T and Isis for inviting me to try out the new mobile wallet and sponsoring me the new Samsung Galaxy SIII. All photos are taken with the Samsung Galaxy SIII and edited with Instagram. Follow me at @atasteofkoko
