This post is long overdue but I’ve been wanting to share my before and after hair makeover at NAAVA Salon & Spa. My hair was long, limp, and pretty much lifeless. And then enter Jenna Mast, hair colorist and stylist at NAAVA, who gave me an incredible transformation.
Jenna is a celebrity stylist that just moved here from New York to Austin. Her client list includes Kate Mara, Stephen Amell, Hannah Thomson (Vogue and Vanity Fair photographer), and more.

I asked for the tortoiseshell hair coloring, which is a combo of balayage, highlights, babylights, ombré, sombré, and rooting. Jenna asked me what my daily routine is and I said, “I wake up, shower, and run out the door.” So I needed a cut and color that would be low maintenance but also look polished. The tortoiseshell hair color would also grow out naturally so I wouldn’t need to come back frequently for touch ups.
