My weekly schedule consist of various restaurant tastings, some good and unfortunately, some bad. But it’s okay. The bad ones leave an awful aftertaste in my mouth but help me appreciate life a little more. Hits include the Manhattans at The Bonneville with real cherries (forget the neon, artificial ones), the Banana Split at Sway with 5 glasses of wine, Mexican cuisine at El Monumento, coffee and cronuts at La Patisserie, and the Stoner Sausage at Banger’s. Banger’s has a rockin’ brunch menu but an even better late night menu. Try a housemade banger wrapped in a bacon-stuffed pancake, topped with a fried egg and shoe string potatoes, and drizzled with sriracha maple syrup.

Finish off the weekend with the symphony in the park with a bottle of Bridlewood Monterey County Chardonnay with floral notes and hits of vanilla and spice.

And for those who have a favorite person, check out Avocado. It’s a fun and intimate way for couples to stay connected with each through. Single? Head over to Tinder.
