Winter Baked Oatmeal



  1. Preheat your oven to 350ºF and lightly grease a baking dish with oil or oil spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, mix bitters, eggs, applesauce, milk, honey, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Whisk to combine.
  3. Add oats, pecans, and cranberries to the bowl and stir well to incorporate.
  4. Pour into the baking dish and top with extra cranberries.
  5. Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the edges are slightly caramelized.
  6. Remove from oven.
  7. Serve into separate bowls with your favorite toppings. I like mine with Greek yogurt and a drizzle of honey.


Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days. Reheat oatmeal in the microwave.
