Connection to Place: An Online Watercolor Workshop w/Jessica Fontenot

Join us live & create a watercolor illustration of a place you love with illustrator Jessica Fontenot! Shipping + pickup for materials incld

About this Event

All of us have connections to different places, like the house you grew up in or the bar where you met your partner. In this workshop, Jessica will guide you through creating a watercolor illustration of a place you love—sharing her approach to drawing architecture/place and some watercolor techniques she uses in her work. Walk away from this experience with a piece of art unique to you. Attendees are encouraged to use their own picture to work from.

Jessica Fontenot is an illustrator and artist based in Austin, TX, who enjoys making work of our everyday surroundings—buildings, construction sites, industrial trucks and people walking their dogs. She creates custom illustrations for folks like Texas Monthly, WildSam and Austin Energy.
