SOUTHERN BRUNCH AT MATTIE’S

The iconic Green Pastures estates has finally reopened with its own restaurant called Mattie’s. This is one my new favorite brunch spots in Austin for it’s laid back Southern vibe, melt-in-your-mouth biscuits on the brunch menu, and classic cocktails. Linda & I spent 4 hours here for brunch catching up over food and cocktails and listening to the peacocks squawk. If you’re lucky, you’ll be able to watch a wedding in session at Green Pastures like we did!
