DESCRIPTION:Tatsu-Ya and Joto Sake, in collaboration with Antonelli’s Cheese Shop, are inviting guests to partake in a virtual sake and cheese tasting experience on Saturday, November 7. The event will be held over Zoom from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Featured panelists include Tatsu-Ya’s Sake Sommelier Bryan Masamitsu Parsons and Director of Operations Tony Perez; Joto Sake specialist Andrew Sowers; and ACS Certified Cheese Professional at Antonelli’s Cheese Shop, Casie Wiginton. The virtual event will lead guests through an introduction of each sake/brewery and cheese pairing, tasting notes, and best practices from panelists on how to approach each tasting.\n \nSake enthusiasts of any level are encouraged to participate in the exploration of Japanese breweries’ contemporary creations and unique, curated cheese pairings. Guests must pre-order online, and each guest will receive access to the exclusive virtual sake tasting session along with a pairings kit. Sake and cheese tasting kits will come complete with three (3) four-ounce tasting bottles of premium imported Japanese sake accompanied by three (3) curated cheeses. Kits and the accompanying session will be $70.  \n \nThe event is available for preorder online Monday, November 2 through Thursday, November 5 via tatsu-ya.com under the Ramen Tatsu-Ya East Austin location. Limited spots and accompanying kits are available for purchase to ensure an intimate tasting experience.
