Beetnik Foods’ gourmet cuisine is prepared in-house, at the company’s cozy East Side bungalow in Austin, Texas. I had the pleasure of touring the kitchen and having a home cooked meal from Beetnik’s founder, Chef David Perkins of Le Cordon Bleu.

Portabella Mushroom Ravioli on Beetnik Foods

Mozzarella cheese, or favorite cheese

Fresh herbs

Salt & pepper

 

D I R E C T I O N S


Cook ravioli to al denta in a large pot of salted boiling water, about 10 minutes. The ravioli should puff up and become whiter. Take out the ravioli and drain.  Sprinkle your favorite cheese over the ravioli and top with fresh herbs.

 

 

Classic French Chicken, 30 minute meals, how to, recipe

Classic French Chicken

A quick variation on a chicken fricassée, using a classic French mirepoix to flavor the sauce. Classic French chicken in a white wine sauce under 30 minutes!

 

I N G R E D I E N T S


Chicken breast, Beetnik Foods

3 tbsp Butter, unsalted

2 Carrots, diced

1/2 Onion, diced

2 Celery stalks, diced

1/2 cup White wine

2 cups Chicken broth

1/4 cup Heavy cream

Spaghetti noodles, cooked

2 sprigs Thyme

 

D I R E C T I O N S


Sautee onions, carrots and celery with butter in a pot until slightly brown. Deglaze with white wine and chicken broth. Simmer for 10 minutes with thyme sprigs. Turn off heat and stir in heavy cream. Add cooked spaghetti noodles. Served with seared chicken breast.

    Fettuccine is fabulous! The best gluten free pasta product there is. Filling and a great base for sauces or simply with a bit of olive oil and grated cheese.

    Terrible experience with these guys. My food came spoiled and they refused to refund because of some fine print on their website “ship at your own risk” in tiny letters.

    Their customer service was almost impossible to get ahold of and when I finally talked to someone, they were cold and clearly didn’t care about doing the right thing.

    Beware, this is a terrible company! DO NOT ORDER FROM BEETNIK!
